I am a computational biologist working at the University of Bordeaux and CNRS unit UMR 5800. Currently, I investigate the interactions between human microbiome and health using my background in data integration and the desire to develop innovative computational solutions to biological questions.

I obtained a BSc in Biotechnology and MSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Warsaw and a PhD in Genetics from the University of Manchester. During my studies and I gained practical experience with a wide range of experimental techniques on a variety of biological systems. Throughout my career, I was combining the experimental and bioinformatical approaches to answer biological questions that could not be answered by either method alone.

I am also a volunteer teacher in Polish Saturday School in Bordeaux, Native Scientist project manager for Polish, Wikipedia contributor and a keen reader.
